Getting here – level access to the Visitor Centre via Southwater into the main entrance at Spout Pool approximately a 10 minute walk.
Car parks – Southwater carpark provides access as above.
Dark Lane carpark is level access with a slight decline and incline to the Visitor centre and main play areas approximately a 10 minute walk.
Pathways around the park – the main routes have a hard surface and include declines and inclines. The Nature and Heritage trails are signposted and have an accompanying leaflet which can be collected from the visitor centre downloaded from the website. Where possible an alternative level route is provided to avoid steps.
Adventure Golf – is wheelchair accessible however the route to the course is on an incline.
Disc golf is located on the village green area and has a grass surface with several inclines and declines around the full course.
Maxell gardens are accessed via hard standing pathways. These have some inclines and declines. The Maxell gardens have a one-way accessible route to the deck area which has a slight slope.
Chelsea gardens are accessed via hard standing pathways. These have some inclines and declines. The Chelsea gardens are on one level and fully accessible.
Quiet Gardens are located behind the Visitor Centre and are fully accessible and on one level.
Play areas are located on a gradual slope with hard surface accessible pathways to each individual play area. The play areas have a variety of wet pore, bark, and sand surfacing.
Teenage activity area is in the main play areas and is fully accessible with hard surface pathways and courts
Bike hub is located within the main Visitor Centre and has level access.
Fishing is available at several pools managed by Telford and Wrekin Council; Telford Angling Association and Dawley Angling Society please see individual websites for more access information. The Withy Pool is managed by Telford & Wrekin Council and has a large wheelchair accessible peg and during business hours vehicle access for disabled badge holder can be arranged by calling 01952 382340.
Withy Pool has a new access pathway down to the dipping platforms. This has a slight gradient and is a chicane design.
Visitor Centre is fully accessible and on one level. We have accessible toilets, main reception area and education room.
Hearing loop in reception. Well behaved dogs on a lead and assistance dogs are welcome.
